This piece is made in two parts. I love to create larger forms and currently we have a small kiln - 43cm in height. Over the past couple of years I have been commissioned to create a few sliced lighting pieces, the original of which I first created about 10 years ago. 

Having made a piece that was larger than the kiln through firing in two sections then assembling it made me realise that I could  create larger forms using this concept of assembly and to use what materials and equipment I had available to me.
